The John Ashdown-Hill Memorial Day

The John Ashdown-Hill Memorial Day was held on 2nd April 2022 at the Crown Hotel in Nantwich with Richard III Society chairman, Matt Lewis, giving the inaugural lecture on The Survivial of the Princes in the Tower.

Our Guest of Honour was the Lord High Sheriff of Cheshire, Lady Redmond who was accompanied by her husband, Sir Philip Redmond, the creator of Grange Hill, Brookside and Hollyoaks.

Sadly, none of the "Looking for Richard" team were able to attend physically, but Zoom made their virtual presence possible and so Philippa Langley, Annette Carson and Dr David and Wendy Johnson were able to receive and answer questions from the audience. Bob Woosnam Savage also entertained us, explaining his involvement in the project.

Here are some photographs from the day taken by Branch members.
